Default Getting back to Beijing

Hi all, I was planning on doing the Jinshanling to Simatai hike and I was wondering if anyone has any info on which buses I should take from the Simatai gorge to get back to Beijing where I am staying? If you could include the times too that would be much appreciated

You won't find busses at Simatai but a pack of drivers with taxis and minibusses which take you back to Huairou. From there are frequent busses (express as well as normal ones) back to Beijing.

Sometimes you will find private tour buses at Simatai that are bound for Beijing and you may be able to get on one of those. Another option would be to take a taxi from Simatai to Gubeikou, which is much closer than Huairou. From there, you will find buses that will take you back to Beijing.
