Normally the base is constructed using sandstone ashlars. I think only a few places have this kind of roughly cut natural rock. Part of the wall is made of the same kind of material. Only part of the wall is made of brick, mainly here: 40° 8'45.18"N 119°11'56.77"E, but it seems only the outer wall was brick while the inner part was stone. |
