Default Andiguan

Some details of the small pass of Andiguan.

The gully to the east of the pass. It's easy to understand that only a small pass was necessary to close it. The mountains here are almost vertical at some places.

Please explain to our chinese friends that I don't always travel and go to the Great Wall - except in the weekends

Now I'm waiting in Shijiazhuang to get my new workingpermit - hopefully some guy will deliver it later today.

Why do you call me 老瑞 and what is the meaning

Chinese use to add "lao"(老) ahead of his family name . it stands for close or senior friend. so i add "lao" ahead of your nationality instead of your family name . I rembered you had said that you prefer to Swedish (瑞典)domain , so i thought you are Swedish i.s.o. Danish. This is the reason why i use Laorui"老瑞" in chinese forum.
PS : If i misunderstood what you said , please tell me. But people in Chinese forum had used to "老瑞" i guessed

Well, my company send me to China because they trust me. If all I did was travel and go to the Great Wall, they would have asked me to go back to Denmark long time ago.

I know a lot of Chinese people work 6 days per week or even 28 days per months, so it might be difficult to understand I have time for visiting the Great Wall.

Okay. I forgot about the Rui in 瑞典. Actually I'm from Denmark and not Sweden, but I guess Lao Rui sounds better than Lao Dan, so just continue with 老瑞
