Well how about that! That's really close to Beijing too. Interesting find, and the walls appear to be in pretty good condition.

What do you think about this: 40°25'3.37"N 116°37'46.25"E? Shentangyu fortress?

If you follow the river it ends almost in the heart of Beijing, so a lot more can probably be found in this area.

Definitely a fortress and in very good condition - happy to see that not only the west have a lot of fortresses It's easy to envy all the nice western findings
