I am pretty sure I already had them all. I meant the Mapquest path, where you don't believe is a wall.

Default Mapquest Great Wall map

Those were places where the wall is clearly visible on GE but was not shown on the Mapquest file.

For places where the Mapquest file shows a wall where there isn't one, look at the Nankou area, that's the main one I noticed so far, although I am very suspicious of many of the places between Hefangkou and Gubeikou.

There may be more, but I have only looked at it briefly.

Even the coverage of Hebei is quite good and very interesting information in Liaoning!
The position of the Great Wall in Hebei seems very accurate, but to the best of my knowledge the position in Liaoning is too far north - in some places about 20 km. I've found some traces in Liaoning that correspond very well to a map of the Great Wall close to Xingcheng.

116d 25' path seem like a road and not the Great Wall. It's also located in the bottom of a ravine which is a highly unlikely position for the Wall.

GPS GE update

I've updated my GE file, including some possible locations in Liaoning. I would appreciate any comments on the Liaoning locations.

Thanks, I agree that you are right. I should be at this location this September and can confirm. I got the end points from this article:

Great work guys!

May I suggest that we sort by Province also, that would make it more clear.

I think clearly separately places should be put in separate folders like the Yiyuankou, Banchangyu and Dongjiakou area.

I have some changes and additions in the Hebei and Liaoning area. Please let me know when the file is available for editing. I'll also update the Shanhaiguan and Jiumenkou area.

I just saw a missing path at Badaling - I'll ad that also when the file is ready for my editing.
