Those are some great pictures! The first time I looked at them, I selected this photo from Baiyangyu as my favorite: 7134313. To me, this photo beckons "climb me". Baiyangyu looks like an amazing place. Dongjiakou looks very interesting as well.

Thanks Bryan, Baiyangyu is my favourite place. You can walk for many kilometres without meet anyone and the wall is just beautiful here as well as the mountains. I just uploaded 3 pictures from Liujiakou - I think you will agree that those mountains calls for some climbing also Unfortunately there was a very cold wind that day so we didn't go very far, but I shall return in the summer.

Yes, Liujiakou also looks like a great place. That cross-river watchtower is quite interesting! I have never heard of that before. It's amazing how much Great Wall there is in the Tangshan area that's in reasonably good condition. I can't wait to see it myself. Again, nice photos!

So, you say you have over ten thousand photos total? One "wan" to match the wan li chang cheng? And I thought I had a lot. I have less than half of the number that you have. I picked a few of the best, those that I could provide GPS coordinates for, and one from Switzerland, too, and posted them to the same site, here.

The Liujiakou watchtower (link) is the biggest one I've seen so far and very impressive.
Nice pictures from you too. I believe that it takes a lot of pictures to get the one perfect shot, so I always take a lot of pictures when I'm sightseeing. I guess some would find it a bit annoying to follow me because I always stop for pictures.

I must admit that my ambition to make a Great Wall Web Gallery have suffered a bit because of different circumstances. I did plan to open the gallery with all the pictures ready at one time, but then I will never be ready to show any thing.

So I decided to post the pictures as I have time for it, and the first pictures are ready now. There's a lot of picture but most of the areas I go to are not that well-known so I think it's important to make it available to the public.
