Default Beijing Knot

HI,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me on something that I'm having real trouble getting an answer to.

I know three sections of the wall meet up at Beijing Knot, but I can't find a definitive answer as to which three sections.

Looking a Google Maps, there's a section that goes north, toward Nine Eye Tower. There's a section that goes west, with a gradual drift toward the south. And there's a section the goes east, with a steep fall to the south.

I've read various web sites, but they either don't mention the sections by name or are contradictory.

Thanks,

Dave

3 sections from Beijing Knot

to esat, through Jiankou Mutianyu ... Shentangyu ... to Miyun district

to west(southwest) through Lianyunling... Dazhenyu....Xishuiyu and the main part stopped at Longquanyu, someone said there were still walls by stones along to the west, but I've never been there by myself.

to north, main part stopped at Nine Eyes Tower. There was a long distant wall on the map from Nine Eyes tower to the northwest. But I dont find it. I am also searching about this.

Could these walls be referred to as the outer wall (east), the inner wall (southwest) and the Beijing wall (north)?

Regards,

Dave

The outer wall is from Beijing Knot to the north(I think the long and continued wall begins somewhere else, there is a gap between that long wall and 9 eyes twoer)
The inter wall is from Beijing Knot to the west(It stopped at Longquyu, and continued at east of Badaling, but still some simpe walls bewteen these, I will explore this in the future years)

From Beijing Knot to the east just the Great Wall

I saw this yesterday. It's visible from Jiuyanlou. It passes just to the West of Heituoshan. Photos to come soon.
