Yingfeidaoyang mountain is the highest point at the Jiankou Great Wall. Yingfeidaoyang is translated as "Eagle flies facing upward", meaning the summit is higher than the height at which eagles fly.

I took this video in May, 2004.

Jiankou is a very interesting place. But I wouldn't recommend it for your group's first trip, Sophie. It's pretty dangerous and not as accessible as other places. I spent just one day there in 2004 and I plan to go back and spend more time there this year.

Hello Bryan, Thank you for your advice. I was just watching the video, but not thinking about going to Jiankou. We have decided to go to Jinshanling great wall. Our trip is coming very soon and we are all very ready to go!!! Only just over one more month to wait before we go.

If we have time to go to another place we may go to Juyonguan or Badaling.
