The stone tablets that probably divided the wall in two sections here have sadly disappeared long time ago.

Really fantastic photos of Heliukou! The pictures are great and so is the Wall. Thanks for sharing!

Also, the overview photo of Baiyangyu is excellent.

To me Baiyangyu will always be special, but no doubt that Lengkou/Heliukou is a Top 5 location in Eastern Hebei because of the scenery, construction and history.

Two missed tablets call "boundary tablet"，the name of defense district was carved on tablets .
Here is sample at Baiyangyu GW , two existing tablets were carved respectively as "Western boundary of Yanhelu "“东协燕河路西界”,and "Eastern boundary of Taipinglu"“中协太平路东界”
