Default The peasants rushed from the Han Dynasty Great Wall, walking on a flock of sheep.

Thumbs up Re: The peasants rushed from the Han Dynasty Great Wall, walking on a flock of sheep.

What a striking photo! The lighting, the subject, the composition, it's all outstanding.

The picture is wonderful, but what a shame for Chinese people it is.

Because so many foreign friends are calling on to protect the Great Wall, but some Chinese people are damaging the relic.

The people who should protect are only interested in drinking Maotai;getting drunk; KTV and visiting prostitutes; driving black audis; Porsche jeeps; eating exotic animals and seafood

I went to the " Great Wall Society of Ningxia" office near the Shuidonggou scenic area entrance. Guess what? Inside was just a table and chair. Nothing else.

In the USA and Germany, history and heritage is seen as pride and a reflection of deep culture. In China, they use it to earn money. Some even consider history to be a shameful part of China

It's Chinese goverment's fault, not Chinese pepole's. No need to enroll the whole nation of 1.3 billion people in this.

In fact, when I shot this picture in 1996, I do not know is that the Han sheep walked the Great Wall. I want to say is this: like the sheep that the destruction of the Great Wall is regrettable, but not the worst - I have seen in another place because of land reclamation by roads, but will dig out a Huokou the Great Wall! In another place, telecommunications companies built on the beacon tower on the ... ... you will be able to see these photos.

This is the Shandan County Gorge Village, a castle close to the Great Wall, with other similar sites, like Gap, the serious destruction of the city also, leaving this city of openings. But it's beautiful. Unfortunately, that is: when I was in the photo shoot when the foot points where the amended legislation into a plaza with many large rocks - and that government officials want to have it developed into a tourist zone to do ... ...
