Default Record "logon" count

I have just noticed that we had a record number of visitors (and members) to the Forum, yesterday. A grand total of 562 on line at once.
A big "well done" to ALL the people (including Bryan, Kim, Chinoook, et al), who have worked so hard to give this Forum, the popularity, interest and quality it deserves.
regards
Michael

Thumbs up Great Wall of China forum visitors

Thanks for your comments! I'm glad you're noticing this type of thing. This forum has grown a lot since inception and while growth started out a bit slow the pace has picked up quite a bit. Everyone who posts here deserves credit and has my personal appreciation.

Admittedly, many of the unregistered users are search engine crawlers and even spambots, but still, registrations and legitimate unregistered visitors continue to increase.

The search engine crawlers are more than welcome. We have worked hard to improve our search engine rankings and while this is a gradual process, the results so far are encouraging.

Also, spambots are successfully blocked. At any time you will find many of them attempting to register but not succeeding.

I suggust him to collect those review and publish in a book.
Surely, it would be greatly successful.

Thanks for your encouragement! I may well do this some day. Right now, I'm still in the research phase.
