How does the Posting Rules work for this forum?
It's only possible to submit a new thread for some forums. I wanted to post a new tread for the Shanxi forum but I don't have that possibility. Seems that every member should be allowed to post a new tread for all sub-forums?

All users should be able to post threads or replies in any forum except for announcements.

Some forums, however, are just categories for grouping sub-forums (child forums). I think the problem is that this does not cover all possible areas of the Great Wall. In other words, the only sub-forum under Shanxi was Datong. Perhaps you wanted to discuss another area in Shanxi. So, I added another sub-forum under the Shanxi category, called Other Shanxi areas. I hope this will take care of the problem. If it seems to be a satisfactory solution, I will add similar sub-forums to all categories.

Thank you, that solved the problem. I wanted to post a new tread about some experience I had in the weekend when I had a chance to visit part of the Great Wall in the western Shanxi province.
