Try this map. The blue line goes from Zhengbeilou to Xizhazi 5.

Also, there is a Mutianyu map here and there are several Jiankou maps here.

Bryan, thanks for the maps. they will be most helpful.

So it looks like as we are hiking the wall west from Mutianyu, when we come to Zhengbeilou, it is better to get off GW and hike down to Zhao's hostel or hike onto Jiankou and then hike down?

Continuing beyond Zhengbeilou is extremely dangerous and I recommend you take the trail down to the road instead.

Watch this video. Starting at about 0:50 it shows the area between Jiankou and Zhengbeilou. The Zhengbei tower itself is at about 1:45.
