The Great Wall of China

Bought last year this book recently found it's way to my bookshelf. The text is double contained: it is written in English as well as in Chinese.
It is one book of a series (I also own: History of the Yellow River, History of the Yangze River). It stays unclear who exactly wrote the text. But: It is by far the best compilation of historical and spacial information about the Non-Ming walls I own.
The chapters are:
  • The Great Wall in t he Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods
  • The Contribution of the First Emperor - the Qin Shihuang Grat Wall
  • The "Frontier Wall" of Emperor Wu - The Western Han Great Wall
  • The Developement of the Great Wall - the Walls from the Eastern Han Dynasty to Jin Dynasty
  • The Magnificient Ming Great Wall
  • The Great Wall Today

Only some photos, only simple maps and poor print quality. Ridiculous low price.

One highlight in my bookshelf and (hopefully) inspiration for upcoming map work.
