Any signs of surfacing (not sure if that's the right word) at the towers? Where they covered with bricks or stone or just rammed earth?
_All_ towers where covered with bricks. We have a mixture of Qin and Ming design (both walls run at the same location here). The "inline" towers on the wall and the round towers (or squarish for Qin) are on slightly higher elevation but have all had brick coverage.
